Disney Plus Hotstar will sustain its hold on India with 46.2 million subscribers by the end of December. The report is published by the leading research firm Media Partners Asia.

The streamer currently has about 34.1 million subscribers in India. Worldwide, Disney Plus Hotstar has 102.5 million subscribers, their last earnings result in May 2021. The report, titled (The Future of India’s Online Video Market) states that in 2021, Disney Plus will have an 80% market share in Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video India, and Netflix’s consumer and revenue.
