The Two famous stars rendered resignations
With the 2021 T20 World Cup a month away, Pakistan cricket suffered a major setback on Monday as its head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis resigned immediately. According to sources, Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis had a meeting with PCB chief executive Wasim Khan today in which Wasim Khan asked Misbah-ul-Haq to rest in the New Zealand series while a discussion took place between Misbah and Wasim Khan.
Sources said that Misbah-ul-Haq wanted to coach in the New Zealand series and he also had reservations about the team selection. He was strongly against Azam Khan’s inclusion in the team. However on the other hand A bio-secure environment or bio-bubble is planned to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19). With bio-secure venues for cricket matches, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and its member boards are aiming to minimize the risk of transmission of the virus from one person to another during an ongoing tournament or bilateral series.
Internal issues with Misbah-ul-Haq bids farewell
Sources said that Misbah’s ways diverged due to selection and board behavior. On the other hand, sources have claimed that the Pakistan Cricket Board has demanded the resignation of Waqar Younis. Both Stars have served as head coaches and bowling coaches of the national cricket team in September 2019 respectively. However, after so many ups and downs in cricketing life, both Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis have bid farewell.

Who will serve as a headcoach for Twenty twenty
Wasim Khan said Saqlain Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq will now serve as coaches in the home series against New Zealand. We have appointed Thaqleen Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq as interim coaches for the New Zealand series. The team management for the ICC Men’s Twenty Twenty World Cup 2021 will be announced in due course.
